Account data
Email address, hashed password, gender, date of birth, height, city of residence, and, where applicable, the marketing source of your registration (UTM parameters).
Profile data
Photos you upload to your profile and the "About" text you write about yourself.
Verification data
For male members: a read-only financial verification performed via Plaid (United States), Powens (Europe), or Lean (United Arab Emirates). We never receive or store your banking credentials, account numbers, balances, or transaction history; we permanently retain only the outcome of the verification (an eligibility result and its date). For female members: your Instagram username, public profile information, and follower count, retrieved through a third-party Instagram data service and used to confirm authenticity. If you choose to import photos from Instagram, they are stored as profile photos.
Messages and interactions
Messages you exchange with other members, and your interactions on the platform (profile views, likes, hides, blocks, and reports). Message content is stored to deliver the service and may be reviewed in response to a report, for safety and moderation purposes.
Usage data
Session tokens, last-seen timestamps, and internal product events (such as completion of onboarding steps), used solely to operate and improve the service. Standard server access logs may retain IP addresses for up to 30 days for security purposes.
We use your data to operate the Vouched platform and enable member matching and messaging; to verify your identity and eligibility for membership; to process subscription payments via Stripe; and to send transactional emails (account verification, password reset, membership updates). We do not use your data for advertising or automated profiling.

Read-only financial verification for male members (Plaid in the United States, Powens in Europe, Lean in the United Arab Emirates).
Instagram data service
Retrieval of public Instagram profile data for female member verification.
Hosting & email providers
Infrastructure, encrypted storage, and delivery of transactional emails.
No other third parties have access to your personal data.
Your account data is retained for as long as your account is active. Upon account deletion, all personal data is removed within 30 days, except where retention is required by applicable law. Financial verification sessions are not stored beyond the verification process itself; only the final eligibility result and its date are retained. Messages are retained for as long as the conversation exists or until account deletion.
If you are located in the European Economic Area, you have the right under the GDPR to access, rectify, or erase your personal data; to restrict or object to its processing; and to receive it in a portable format. To exercise these rights, contact us at hello@vouched.club. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the French data protection authority, the CNIL (www.cnil.fr). If you are located elsewhere, we honour equivalent rights where provided by your local law — including, for California residents, the rights of access, deletion, and non-discrimination under the CCPA. You can delete your account at any time from the app or by contacting us.
All data is transmitted over HTTPS. Passwords are hashed and never stored in plain text. Third-party API credentials are stored in encrypted application credentials. We take reasonable technical measures to protect your data; however, no system is entirely immune to risk.
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be notified by email to registered members. Continued use of the platform after notification constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
